Pretendage

Your vulnerability is hidden beneath thousands of layers
Laid by your own fragile hands
Fingers bleeding of the cactus thorns
that vitalize the many

As you take it to heart:
Fear exceeds bravery

This is the brilliant mockingbird act we’ve all come to see
Fake imitation of what is thought to be worth the honor
as the king of all kings,
While you fail to beg to differ

and leave the heart of your soul
beating cold against the frosty ground

Poland

lost words
petals in the wind mark your departure

suddenly
a million miles from where you are
solitude, your sweet inexistence
it’s such a better place
it’s such a paradise

if only it didn’t haunt me here, your face
in disguise

all fishermen follow their prey

only to realize there was no shark in the waters

[untitled]

The call of masses,
those who refuse to see the obvious
And of individuals,
protecting their image
from the pain of humbleness

Some disappear in arrogant seconds
Holding their ears deaf to the yells of help
because the yeller can surely take it themselves

And martyrdom turns into paranoia,
and paranoia turns into hatred and grudge
and mistrust

because you can’t take it any more than this
and the yeller can surely take it themselves

Autocracy

An unrealized mistake shivered my feet
Through gentle steps, unnoticeable,
And a state of mind of innocence
Judgment follows disclosure

Were those steps the ones I was not to take?
Will your tongue slither,
Swift your duties on me?
Will you blame me ’till I break?

A statement more true than you thought it could be:
Autocracy supersedes curiosity
Avoid my gaze until your blood runs blue
And Kafka would be proud of you

Chess Is Not for Girls

There is no point in challenging you
We both know you can never beat me
We both know you can never cheat me
Outsmart me

For I am a man, am I not?

I am the white crowned pawn
While the beginning already deceased your dark dame
You will lose every single game
Your weakness hidden under fabrics,
Your incomplete brain

Serve me, woman
I’m your feeding hand
Intellect conquers beauty
Don’t you understand?
